Los Angeles City Council has passed a law that limits households to only ONE rooster.
All you offenders have until November to comply.
What am I going to do with Rodney?!?

Hi Jane~ That is too funny. As if they don't have anything else to worry about or to regulate in Los Angeles! Is there that many people that want to own roosters for goodness sake? LOL!
I play golf sometimes in Santa Monica and there is a house bordering the golf course that had a rooster that was crowing all day. I don't know how the neighbors could stand it. Now I think they just have chickens.
I love that rule, it makes me laugh...Who made it up? and why. were they drinking? What about hens. how many hens? One rooster will wake you up at 4:30 the same as 10 will.
PS do we need to start a "save the Rodney" campaign.
Hey, I just report the news, I don't make it :) Yep, we need to find him a good home. Maybe in Sacramento?
I have about 80 chickens right now, so go ahead and bring Mr Rodney, I'll bake you some nice cookies for your long drive. (unless you want to put him on a plane)?
Fun post
I think Rodney would love that. 80 chickens eh? That's 8 more than the virgins the suicide bombers get.
How many people there have loads of chickens ? one has to wonder?
You gotta love lawmakers. I've heard that for every law there is an outlaw as well.
Bob & Carolin, I guess there are enough poultry that they had to make this law.
Janice - plenty of outlaws in L.A. :)
Well, crap - there goes my plans of relocation to Los Angeles! (How strange!)
O.K. Leesa, own up. How many roosters do you have?????
