Yesterday at Woodley Lakes Golf Course, a public course:
Rocky, Ricky, and Ralph - very unusual to see these guys out on the golf course.

Hi Jane;
Very nice picture I think you have a large family in your drive way. That guy is very brave.
I don't know if I would be getting that close willingly. Great picture.
Anthony, that is the golf course by the snack bar : And yes John & Anthony, that guy was didn't know. He jumped back when we all told him.
Great picture!
Thanks, Barb
Wild, aren't they?? Does everyone at the course feed them?
They are never at the course, Judi. This is very unusual. And the guy, a Korean, didn't know what he was doing. We were all standing there in shock.
What a great photos. I understand you have to be careful with racoons.
Ellen, I understand that too. I believe they carry rabies and they are not usually tame. These guys were and they shared nicely. The guy bending down didn't know .
It's really neat to watch them, but not that close to feed them. All kinds of players on that course today.
Hi Jane, That's a strange sight! They seem friendly LOL I was noticing old footage on TV of visitors at a National Park last night - walking right up and feeding bears- I'm pretty sure I wouldn't feed either one, a bear or a raccoon!!
Lee & Carol, Not a good idea at all.
Mary, they were very friendly. They didn't even fight each other over the food thrown to them. They were very polite. They looked kind of sad to me.
WOW! The unsuspecting Korean guy sure got lucky...I've heard so many times how raccoons can be very mean...and there's THREE of them! You must have had your camera at the right moment, Jane...I would have been scurrying away like a frightened little mouse! :)
Leilani
Leilani, I was carrying my camera around the course to take pictures for AR. This was a lucky occurrence. Everyone was going up to the snack shack to look at them. They were actually quite tame. Cute guys. I hate it that they are having to scrounge around humans for food though. It means something is amiss in the wild.
