Who said we don't have fall colors in Los Angeles?
But at the end of the day the sun that baked us gracefully sets.

Yes we have color but only is certain patches with leaves. The other comes as green or from flowers.
I always think of Raymond Chandler's novels of Los Angeles in the 1930's and 1940's. I bet you have some fantastic homes from that era!
Hey, Mark or Tim, I think I did pretty well.
Tricia, we most certainly do, especially in the Echo Park Silver Lake area.
Our leaves weren't overly exciting here in the southeast this year. Too much water, warm too long... something. Those are nice photographs Jane. Of course I'm partial to sunset photographs anyway. I'll have to ask my friend who lives out there if his girls have played that course, looks beautiful.
Jane - good job in what must have been a very long day in trying to find real trees. ;-)
Gorgeous trees -- thanks for sharing -- lovely.
Hi Jane, Wonderful pics. Thanks for sharing.
Best - Sash
Very nice Jane, I guess you have something to look at while you sit in LA traffic. LOL Have a great day.
Jane: I admit I am surprised as I didn't think trees existed in LA
Jane
That a outstanding sunset photo.
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
Jane....nice photos....we haven't seen sun in days....no leaves either....mine are all cleaned up and we're ready for the winter....can't wait for the first snow fall....I love winter....snow is beautiful.
I wouldn't have guessed that picture was taken in LA. I've never been, but that is not what I imagine. Great pictures!
Tammy, the course is Hansen Dam. There are a lot of great public courses in L.A.
Yeah, Rick, like it's any better in your neck of the woods. :0
Bob & Carolin, for some reason I think it's Carolin :) Thanks for dropping by.
Sasha, thank you for dropping by also.
Kevin, the only thing we see when stuck in L.A. traffic, which by the way is not worse than any other big city, is the car in front. Thanks for dropping by. :)
Now, now, Janice, be nice :)
Thank you, Lou.
Barbara, just send me the photos. You can keep the snow :)
Sharon, Come visit!
People think we don't have trees in Oklahoma, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, I think we have more lakes than most states. And, no we don't have teepees, but we do have free ranging buffalo. :-)
Nice photos, Jane.
Thank you, Lori. I don't know what I thought you had in Oklahoma, but certainly no buffalo.
Wow these are really stunning shots Jane ! I would have said they were taken closer to my side of the country with those gorgeous leaf colors !
Nicely snapped :o)
Sheldon, I was jealous of everyone's purple and pink trees. I was determined to find one. Thanks for dropping by.
We have such a different impression of what we hear about LA, that I have one question: I want to know how you photo shopped out the smog??? JK! Great pics! Seeing is believing, huh?
Wow, Ruth, we do have a reputation don't we! Fooled you.
Jane,
Thanks for sharing. I'm hoping your day ended quietly, just like the sunset.
Mike in Tucson
Thank you, Mike. It was a day of bad golf, so no. I always think of you when I post my rather amateur photos.
So you do have some fall colors in sunny LA. I never would have believed it if you hadn't shared them :)
Surprise, surprise, Carol. This ain't Appalachia but we can pretend.
You found them Jane!! and you DO have fall colors! I like the sunset photo, too. In fact, I just like sunset, it's a quiet time of the day for me and usually the sunsets are beautiful. I hope you have a very nice Thanksgiving Jane!
I told you I was going to found one, Mary. I love sunsets too and, boy, do we have them here. The smog helps :) Have a great Thanksgiving too.
