I Really Am a Great House, Priced Well, in the Westside Village Area of Palms

I am looking for a great owner to come an buy me.  I am a home for sale in the Westside Village area of Palms, Los Angeles.Tilden

My present owner didn't want to let me go.  I have been in the same family since days one.  But it's time....

I am a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a lovely, large backyard with avocado, apple, lemon, jacaranda and other trees.  It is really an oasis in the middle of Palms.

My floors are hardwood and all my plumbing is copper.  I have also upgraded my electrical boxes, so you can bring all your  appliances and electronics.

I do need upgrading eventually, because I am a little tired.  After all, I was born in 1941.  But, don't worry, I can handle you for a while.

I will be open on Sunday, April 11th to meet, greet, and show you around.  So please drop by and let m
e introduce myself.

Where can you find me?  3465 Tilden Avenue.  I will be all dressed up.  You can't miss me. Tilden

Oh, and don't pay any attention to the condo building next door.  It does not affect me at all.  I took care of that with some lovely trees which give me the privacy I crave.

Jane, love the talking house description!  Great idea!  I never tried that but I think I will.  Good luck with it!

Hi Jane -- So creative! Love it! What's a jacaranda? Never heard of that.  I like the sound of it. We just have maples and oaks around here.

Hi Jane ~ Sounds like such an appealing house! And a veritable fruit orchard in the yard - sweet!

Jane, a member of Pat's Favorite Old Boyfriends' Club live in LA, and I was amazed by the friut tree in his back yard.  The lemons were just a different fruit that what we find at Safeway, or even Whole foods.  Your post reminded me of the wonderful smells!

That gives "talking house" a whole new meaning.  Very creative and clever Janey... I just love it.

Hi Jane-

I love the chatty way that you present this darling house.  I hope that your "open" is very successful!

Gina,  thank you.  I think no one knows the house better than the house itself :)

Barbara,  jacarandas are beautiful trees with purple flowers.  However, never ever park your car under one.  They are incredibly messy and sticky.

Pat,  you should see the size of these lemons.  They look like grapefruit.

Tammy,  thank you kindly.

Sara,  thank you very much.  This house deserves a nice owner.

Good morning Jane,

Another clever approach to marking a home..I love it and bet it works well for this house..you gave this house personality and I love it! A great approach..one I have not used before but on some houses I think a perfect touch!

Jane:

You are an adorable house with your updated electrical and your wonderful fruit trees. Someone needs to claim you as their new home - right away.

House, ask your Realtor to plant St. Joseph somehwere - maybe that will help you find a new owner.

Very creative.  I think I'll borrow this concept.  Good luck.  If I were a buyer, I would seriously want to view this home based on the description (out of curiosity if for no other reason).  Even a curiosity seeker may be prone to make an offer.  Take from me.  I had no intention of buying my first house.  I was just killling time on a Sunday and bought the second house I looked at.

Charita, amazing.  The odds are not high for someone driving around to buy a house.

St. Joseph, father of Jesus.  You can buy him a box and plant him in a certain spot in the yard.  Of course, for me, I hand little green men in the trees for luck at my listings. :)  Hope you have a wonderful turn out at your open house... later today *it's already Sunday on the east coast.
