It is always a chore to find out where the Los Angeles July 4th fireworks displays are going to take place. May of them are organized the day before, or the week before, or some other day and very few actually on the day.
Below you will find three venues to satisfy your July 4th Fireworks habit:
Culver City High School
4401 Elenda St.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m., entertainment starts at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks show starts at 9:00 p.m.
Food and sodas are available. No alcohol or fireworks are allowed to be brought onto the grounds.
CBS Grand Ole 4th of July Fireworks Festival
CBS Studio Center, Studio City 91604
4:30 - 9:30 p.m.
Tickets $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Children $8/$10

The Rose Bowl - Pasadena
Advertised as "the Biggest and Best Firework Show in Southern California", this is a full day of entertainment, including:
2:00 p.m. Family fun festival and food
7:00 p.m. Drum Corp International Performance and Military Tribute.
9:00 p.m. Fireworks

I love watching the fireworks, sadly they took away the long Island Jones Beach Fireworks display so instead I'll be heading to Amityville NY for the show :) Enjoy the show Jane!
What a great event. Was supposed to go to LA for the 4th a few years ago, but it go pushed back to August. We'll have to make it there for the holiday one these years.
