Oh, I remember the Twin Cities about 30 years ago. That was tame... A couple of people dancing? Really, I remember your area being a lot wilder than that. What, have the Conservatives stopped all the fun in Venice Beach, too? LOL.

Ahhh, Jane ~ I just saw this and now I think I might just need to take a "scenic" route for my next lunch when I have a job in the area.  My personal favorite is the Fig Tree Cafe at the Su Casa Hotel right there on the beach walk (the fact that my Couson is the Mgr doesn't hurt either ;) Think I'll just need to go pay him a visit

I live about 500 yards from the boardwalk and while on the surface it seems like it always has been, the infrastructure is decaying and the whole stretch is sorely needing a facelift and renovation.

Nick,  I think as lon as I have know it, it always has.
