That sounds fun and exciting Jane.............wish I could attend.
Oh man....this sound amazing! Halloween parties are the best....well all parties are really :)
Gawd! You guyzzz have the best PARADE! And the best PARTY??? No fair! Then again, maybe we don't measure up here in SF because it's HALLOWEEN around here EVERY DAY!!! MWA-HA-HA-HA!!!
Jane--It must be so much fun to live in/near LA with all the amazing venues and events. This sounds very cool!
Sounds really cool... too bad my trip to LA is at the end of November, and not October. I'll have to see if I can wiggle some work down there for this time next year so I can visit!

Jane - Sounds like a grand event. Nothing like a wild Halloween party for a good time.
Jane, I love the poster for this one! There are going to be a bunch of great Halloween posts around here!
Jane - That sounds and looks like a lot of fun. I don't remember anything like it when I lived in LA.
Roger, what's stopping you?
Kerrie, absolutely right. And so many to choose from here.
Cece, good one :)
Teri, we are spoiled for choice.
Peggy, you don't need an excuse to visit :)
Donne, yes indeedy!
Patricia, Halloween is a fun event to blog about.
Everything about this, from the poster to the DJs, the dancers, the costumes...everything says "Hollywood"!
Christine, this is only the 2nd year for this event.
Nina, it sure does.
Abigail went a mummy exhibit when she was little, she said they looked like burned bacon. There was a media guy there at the time and he couldn't keep a straight face for the rest of his reportl
Tammy, that's funny. Wonder if it was the King Tut exhibit?
Jane......Only the rich and famous can this and do it right!!!!
Barbara, nah, but they do go overboard.
HA! I love Barbara's comment--and your response is priceless! Overboard is definitely a good descriptive term for this but, how fun will this be? I hope you're going to enjoy this one yourself too!
Sounds really wild - I want to be there!!!!
Debe, I wouldn't know where to start there is so much going on.
Juli, as I said to Roger, what's stopping you? :)
Jane - This kind of Holloween and London in the same year ... looks like a charmed life to me! Thanks Jane for sharing so much of it!
This sounds like a very unique and fun style of party Jane. So will you be going? Dressed like Queen Nefertiti? Walk like an Egyptian?
This looks like a blast. Austin is also a place where Halloween is pretty much over the top too!
Cracking up at Craig's comment too and now I am also curious...
;-D
Jack, oh yes, I am living on the wild side.
Craig, my neck doesn't move right.
Russell, I heard that. They must be going into competition. And Craig is just naughty.
Sounds like a fantastic event...LA knows how to do it!
Jane - WOW, that could be fun. I will be up in LA Saturday and Sunday. Hmmm.
Sounds like a classic LA/Hollywood event!
Jeff
Doesn't sound like any of the parties going on here, Jane. We haven't been to anything even close to that since Lee worked in the film industry and we would go to the Wrap parties. Just gonna be tricks and treats safe at home.
Susan, they ought to by now.
Jeff, you are going to be spoiled for choices.
Carol, something to be said for the quiet life.
Oh yes please !!! My wife and I are huge Egyptian history fans, and almost took our Honeymoon there ! This sounds like a fascinating event :o)
What a great time this will be Jane! What an appropriate place for Hallowe'en! Sounds like such a fun time to see how creative people can be with their costumes! Hope you report with pictures!
Sheldon, oh, do I have a bunch of photos for you from my TWO trips to Egypt :)
Al & Peggy, I would be running all over town to take pictures of everything going on in L.A.
Jane, I think I like that poster the best! Can you tell I'm from Indiana?
Bruce, Indiana Jones?
GOOD ONE JANE!
Jane, would you believe that the main character in Raiders of the Lost Ark was to be called:
Illinois Smith?
It just didn't quite have a ring to it! ^_~
Bruce, then you would have had to move. Or it could be been Iowa Davis.
TWO TRIPS !?!?!?!?!
.... no fair ;o)
Sheldon, yeah, count 'em, two.
Sounds like a good time Jane. I've been out to LA during most times of year, but never Halloween.
Scott, put it on your list.
