This is lovely! It's nice that you were able to get so many good photos before the crowds took to the streets.

I've never been to Los Angeles but now I know why people are attracted to the city. It's dressed up just goregous for the holidays!

Jane:  Main Street at the Grove... looks like a pretty special place to me.  How incredibly festive.  If that won't get you into the Christmas/Holiday spirit... nothing will.

This is absolutely beautiful, Jane.  Festive seems to be the word of choice to describe the beauty of the mall and especially the Christmas tree!

Love the photos - it's so hard to get into the "spirit" when it's in the 70's and 80's temperature wise.  However, we have a frost warning for the next couple of days and are expecting the coldest Thanksgiving in recorded history here in Arizona. 

Personally, I love seeing all these great lights - they're so festive.

Hi Claudette, I just stopped by to wish you a belated Happy Thanksgiving!  We ran the Austin Turkey Trot yeaterday and here is what we caught for dinner...Not really, I would not know where to begin as far as preparation! Heck, I am thankful I could pick up a bird from the local matket! ;-D

I hope you had a good one and...In spite of your post HOPE you  decide to skip the whole "Black Friday" shopping madness and actually relax!

I've never been to the Grove during the holidays...they sure go all out, don't they?  We're now contemplating coming down south on the 22nd or 23rd for a couple of days to visit with Family in Woodland Hills.  I hope we can pop in there for a couple of hours!
