Jane,
This is lovely! It's nice that you were able to get so many good photos before the crowds took to the streets.
I've never been to Los Angeles but now I know why people are attracted to the city. It's dressed up just goregous for the holidays!
Jane: Main Street at the Grove... looks like a pretty special place to me. How incredibly festive. If that won't get you into the Christmas/Holiday spirit... nothing will.
Patricia, they go all out at The Grove and, I would imagine, its sister mall, Americana in Glendale. It is so pretty. Thanks for dropping by.
Karen, it sure does get you into the spirit.
Thanks for sharing. beautiful photos. Getting in the mood for holidays
Ha ! Felt like I was taking every step with you there Jane !!! Nicely done, and a wonderful seasonal display in the square !
Hoping the year ends on a happy, and positive note :o)
Cheers Jane !
Ernie, glad I could add to the holiday mood.
Sheldon, thank you, and for you too.
Jane, great photos! They do help get you in the spirit!
Tony and Darcy, you are welcome. Happy Thanksgiving.
Jane, excellent presentation!! How festive the Grove looks wish I could jet out to experience it for myself but I will live through your video :)
This is absolutely beautiful, Jane. Festive seems to be the word of choice to describe the beauty of the mall and especially the Christmas tree!
Happy Merry Thanksgiving!
Love the photos - it's so hard to get into the "spirit" when it's in the 70's and 80's temperature wise. However, we have a frost warning for the next couple of days and are expecting the coldest Thanksgiving in recorded history here in Arizona.
Personally, I love seeing all these great lights - they're so festive.
Marily, I can only imagine how festive you get in Lake Charles.
Bruce, thank you kindly, as always.
Juli, pretty cold here also. But hey, anything under 65 is freezing. The weather is totally weird this year. Frost in AZ?
With just 36 days left in 2010, Zoey the Cool Cat and I just wanted to stop by and wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Hope it’s a great one, with lots of fun and food with family and friends!
Jane....Happy Thanksgiving to you.....hope you enjoy your day.
Jane, those are some very nice photos, thanks for sharing. I stubbornly refuse to acknowledge the next holiday until I have had my turkey. Happy Thanksgiving to you
Beautiful photos, Jane! I remember the Farmer's Market. The Grove must be newer. Haven't been in LA in close to 30 years. Happy Thanksgiving!
Wow, stunning photos, love the tree and the entire setting at The Grove, very festive. I just got my "wave" for the holidays from your pictures. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Jane.
Beautiful photographs, Jane. Looks like The Grove is all prepped for Christmas. Happy Thanksgiving!
Awesome Jane, very nicly done. Happy Thanksgiving to you
Jane, Quite the light display and tree! Happy Thanksgiving to you!
It's so pretty Jane. I love the festive lights all bright and twinkly during the Holidays, the Grove Shopping Center is pretty spectacular. I came by today to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving Jane!
Good morning Jane,

Barb, you too. Thank you.
Ed, where I come from Turkey belongs on the next holiday.

Renee, thank you. And thank the boyz for coming over.
Great photos. It's really nice to be able to see Christmas light displays from around the country. Yes. that is a really pretty tree.
JoAnn, thank you. It is isn't it. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
How Pretty!
You did a wonderful job of catching the atmosphere even in the low light of the Christmas decorations. Thanks for sharing.
Judi, and thank you for appreciating it. :)
I think I'd be too distracted by the decorations and all the lights to ever make it into the stores! Breathtaking!
Hi Claudette, I just stopped by to wish you a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We ran the Austin Turkey Trot yeaterday and here is what we caught for dinner...Not really, I would not know where to begin as far as preparation! Heck, I am thankful I could pick up a bird from the local matket! ;-D
I hope you had a good one and...In spite of your post HOPE you decide to skip the whole "Black Friday" shopping madness and actually relax!
Karen, oh, nothing would keep me from the stores :)
Russell, despite what I said to Karen, I really don't enjoy shopping anymore. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving also.
Jane, I love the Christmas lights that adorn the shopping scene at The Grove Shopping Center...how festive! Thanks for sharing your photos on Wordless Wednesday! :)
Leilani
Leilani, you are most welcome. Hope you had a great Turkey day.
Nice slideshow, Jane! Nighttime shots like this can be tough, but you did a job that would make Santa proud.
John, thank you. I actually put the camera into nightime mode. Miracle of miracles.
Jane ~ now that is festive! How could anyone walk down there and not get in the spirit of Christmas?!
Dawn, how indeed :)
Jane, Thank you for sharing. Wow what a place.
I like the Grove. I'll be right over.
Well, maybe not RIGHT over, but I would like to see it. ;)
Jane - THe Grove is an amazing place, and such a contrast to the Farmers Market next door. Never been there at Christmas...and now I don't have to.
Jeff
I've never been to the Grove during the holidays...they sure go all out, don't they? We're now contemplating coming down south on the 22nd or 23rd for a couple of days to visit with Family in Woodland Hills. I hope we can pop in there for a couple of hours!
Jane-Very nice presentation. You have a real eye for setting up your shots. Thanks for posting.
Charles, you are most welcome.
Jeff, oh yes you do. No excuses.
David, it will be jam packed, but do try. Let me know and maybe we can have coffee.
Wayne, not me, my camera. But thank you.
If we're able to make it over there, I'll give you a buzz! ;-)
Jane - Very well done. It looks like a lovely place full of holiday cheer.
Doug, thank you. It is probably the best place in L.A. for that Xmas feeling.
